~New Friend~

Let me introduce you another new friend of mine!

It’s SONY Cybershot DSC-WX300!

It’s literally my very first camera bought with my own earnings! My previous cameras were either gifts or second hands from relatives, which, I thank them very much as they allowed me to take a lot photos and filled up my life album of memories. My phone camera’s resolution is kinda crappy and its macro adjustments are not that great. My previous cameras were slowly dying on me either with a slowing shutter or memory corruption. So, I decided to buy myself a new cam! Yay!

Some people might ask, why don’t you buy a DSLR Camera? My thoughts are, I am not a professional photographer, and neither do I do photography, so a simple digital camera with simple added functions and a reasonable output quality would already be sufficient. As long as I can take photos any where and every where, am fine with it! (Mysterious voice: Just admit that you don’t have enough money already! Me:…) But really, I am not fan of carrying bulky cameras around when I travel.

So far I haven’t tried out all the available functions, but I can tell that the quality is very good, from the random photos I’ve taken. Still need to play more with it.

Till next time then!

~Make Up Power…FAIL(?)~

I don’t usually wear make ups, I don’t even like to use sunscreen! But I have a bad skin condition, so when I have to attend some formal events like birthday dinners, weddings or interviews etc, a little make up is still needed.

Make up is not only about making yourself look prettier, but it is also a sign of respect to the person you are meeting or the event you are attending. I have only started to play with eye shadows and eye liners some 5 years back, and I am still not a master of make ups. My sisters always laughed at me for not having changed anything on my face when I wore make ups, maybe it’s because I am not putting enough? But well, I really don’t like to wear a thick coat of stuff on my face, it makes me uncomfortable…

When I started to “draw” on my face, I really tried out every color of the eye shadows that I had at home separately, to see how they turn out to be. Even took some photos, but now looking back at them, it’s so funny and embarrassing that I have decided to keep for myself. But trials and errors are necessary, so as to find the right make up that suits you. Due to the differences in facial features, not every make up tutorial you find necessarily suits you, thus you have to keep discovering till you find it!

(Left: Without, Right: With) [Mysterious voice: It was obvious, baka!!]

Before make up I only had my contact lenses on, and applied some toner. For this “transition”, I just applied some BB Cream, some gel eyeliner, some brownish eye shadow, some mascara, some lip gloss and a little bit of brow pencil. Oh, oh! And I untied my hair! And, and! Changed my clothe…ugh!! [*got hit by mysterious force*] I could have done more like wearing fake lashes, curling my hair a bit more but…I was lazy…so…*rolls away*

Normally, I have my glasses on, wear t-shirts, shorts or jeans, leave my hair messy in the wind, my most comfortable outfit. No need to check from time to time if the make ups are still in place, no need to check if the rim of the skirt has levelled etc.

My sister trying to adjust my self-shooting angle, but it turned out strange!

Both of my sisters are very good at taking their own photos, the shape of their faces and eyes appear great at their “right” angles! And I’m still trying to figure out mine…Well…nevermind!!

Tsk…so tired to take photos hey! Let’s have some tea~!
