~Drawing Process~

Recently I’ve been recording some of my drawing processes, partly because I was bored, and mostly to help me concentrate in what I am doing. In my previous posts, you can tell how easily I get distracted from drawing. So doing a little bit of livestreaming greatly helped me in completing an artwork faster, hehe!

Sadly, this new livestream deletes my events after one month due to my free membership. Yet luckily, when I do livestream, it simultaneously records the process on my hard disk, and with a little editing and speeding up, I reupload the videos on my Youtube account.

~New Friend~

Let me introduce you another new friend of mine!

It’s SONY Cybershot DSC-WX300!

It’s literally my very first camera bought with my own earnings! My previous cameras were either gifts or second hands from relatives, which, I thank them very much as they allowed me to take a lot photos and filled up my life album of memories. My phone camera’s resolution is kinda crappy and its macro adjustments are not that great. My previous cameras were slowly dying on me either with a slowing shutter or memory corruption. So, I decided to buy myself a new cam! Yay!

Some people might ask, why don’t you buy a DSLR Camera? My thoughts are, I am not a professional photographer, and neither do I do photography, so a simple digital camera with simple added functions and a reasonable output quality would already be sufficient. As long as I can take photos any where and every where, am fine with it! (Mysterious voice: Just admit that you don’t have enough money already! Me:…) But really, I am not fan of carrying bulky cameras around when I travel.

So far I haven’t tried out all the available functions, but I can tell that the quality is very good, from the random photos I’ve taken. Still need to play more with it.

~Nearly One Year~

That…was fast.

I could still remember the day I set for Taiwan. On the road to the SSR Airport I couldn’t stop thinking about all my friends, all the things I have abandoned, and what I will be facing in this country, seemingly familiar, but not totally is.

Taipei of Taiwan is a city with loads of facilities, sometimes, too much, that you are lost in choices. And you are prone to buy stuff which are not necessarily needed, haha! That’s why I always had to think like over 10 times before buying anything. (But there are times where I failed… <(- w –)/ )

To tell the truth, Taiwan has its lovely points as well as Mauritius, and vice versa. But I miss Mauritius very much, honestly. The place where I grew up, where I made true friends, friends with whom, till today, I can annoy at any time without them getting really angry at me. Hehe.

And for the first time I came to understand a famous Mauritian saying…”Tous sinois pareil” (meaning All Chinese are the same) To the left, to the right, to the front and under the… humm, damn, why all Taiwanese look so much alike?!
